Daydream Believer

Last night I had a dream about a Galapagos Giant Tortoise, this is the price you pay for testing your knowledge on Turtles right before you go to bed.

Oh and also I think I am going to change fonts on here for awhile! :)

Naww how sweet...

I just saw this on Twitter:

"Dear whoever is reading this, you're beautiful and someone out there is crazy about you. So smile. Life is too short to be unhappy."

Nawwwwww

Sydney Swans make their Twitter debut

Recently the Sydney Swans began their takeover of everything that is awesome on Twitter. There are only a few AFL clubs on Twitter and only a few of them have the players with their own account. It is a great way for them to keep us fans updated and they have started a twitter fan of the week competition. If they need feedback on a decision they come quick and fast, and they like to retweet some nice replies from other Twerps. I was lucky as that they retweeted my tweet to them of: @sydneyswans are taking over twitter! Loving all the updates and pics! Thank you!  Meaning all their fans got to see my thoughts, and I ended up having more of them follow me. To which I tweeted and I got retweeted by rttf_au: RTTF_AU Santa came early #FF ;) RT It's my lucky day @clubswans @babybloods @rttf_au all following me! Can't wait for 2011! #goswans At this current time Swans are following me (which makes me happier than you wouldn't know) even if it is 1 of 4361 that they are following.

Alright so links time:
@sydneyswans - their official account
@richards_report - Ted Richards
@okeeferyan - Ryan O'Keefe
@JaredCrouch - Jared Crouch
@brett_kirk - Brett Kirk
@rttf_au - Swans Fan
@BabyBloods - Swans Young Guns - Fan keeping unnoficial tabs on the swans stars of tomorrow
@clubswans - Club Swans - Swans home away from home, their aftermatch venue
@swansreserves -Swans Reserves - Live scores and updates from Swans Reserves games.

Happy Tweeting :)

Yarrrr Me Hearties!

Everybody knows the classic Pirate joke of: Why are Pirates Pirates? Because they Arrrrrr! But the other day Lauren asked me What is a Pirates favourite letter of the alphabet? I was like well it has to be R (pronounced Arrrrr) She promptly replied You may think it is an Arrr But really it is the C (Pron. Seaaaa) I just found this hilarious and felt the need to share it with cyberspace!

Nom?

New background for my phone, gone with the 16 year old haha and bring on the 20 year old!
I think he is gorgeous, and he has starred in Wild Child, Alex Rider Stormbreaker, Tormented and coming up is Beastly with Vanessa Hudgens and next month in the US hopefully in Aus soon I Am Number Four with Dianna Agron (Who he is going out with, aww) He also used to model for Burberry. Just go and watch one of these movies and you too will see his potential. But anyway, please enjoy Mr Alex Pettyfer:

So I got a new app...

It is called Turtles! (from Levitate LLC) and is essentially flash cards of different turtle types, when you think you have learnt them well enough you can do a multiple choice quiz to test your knowledge. I find it interesting but it could do with more info about each type, the app costs $1.19 and is not really worth it, I just enjoy it (or try to convince myself) because I love turtles.

My new background!

So late last year I created my own background for my blog, using some nice quotes, and pictures that inspire me, except what sucks is that my posts cover like half of it completely so here is my background:

I Love Google

I love how Google fill you in on pop culture you would ordinarily miss via changing their header for the day. Take today for instance, They made this picture there header:

It is to celebrate what would be Cézanne's 172nd birthday. Sometimes we forget some awesome things that happened in the past, like his Post-Impressionist artwork. To think most of his artwork was created in the 19th Century is a bit surreal, its real talent and these days nobody can paint like that without lessons or some iconic artist to re-create. Happy Birthday Paul Cézanne!

Taranaki SurfDaze

Hello All,
There is this group on Facebook called Taranaki SurfDaze, and basically everyone should add them, they upload some real nice pics of the Naki and make you homesick with almost every upload. If you are not from the Naki, add them and you will still enjoy all the pictures.
Here is one of my favourite pictures:

Happy New Year!!!

Hello everybody I hope you all had an awesome Xmas and a very Happy New Year.
My Xmas was spent in Shellharbour, then I was working up til New Years Eve, and celebrated with my closest of friends out of the city, then departed for NZ on New Years Day. I am currently in a little town called Hawera where my Nana lives, tomorrow I am bound for my hometown of New Plymouth for some much needed shopping spree or even a day at the beach will be fine. New Zealand is pretty much the best place on the planet, so needless to say I am trying my hardest to find a reason to stay here. We surprised my Grandma and my Great-Grandma and so they were excited to see us, I also got the recipe for my Nana's Peanut Brownies so hopefully I can do them justice. She has given me her copy of Edmunds Cook Book, printed in 1980 so I am very excited to start cooking. The picture (taken by Aunty Jaxs) below is of what Taranaki (my province) pretty much is i.e. cows (dairyland) and Mt Taranaki (the middle of the province, and the prettiest sight ever. Under that is a picture of the sunset from Fitzroy Beach looking towards Motoroa (where I first lived) from Travelpod.com, essentially this is Taranaki, this is where I am from, and this is the best place on earth. :)
